Thanksgiving!!!

MMMMmmmmm I love Thanksgiving! I can almost taste that Turducken now. Oh, you probably don’t know what a Turducken is, huh? Well, most families stuff their turkeys with bread stuffing, but not my family! We stuff the turkey with a whole chicken! And then we stuff the chicken with a duck! Sure, it might sound kind of gross, but it’s sooooooo good. Besides, it’s family tradition, and tradition is what Thanksgiving is all about!

I wonder if the pilgrims had Turducken

Frightful Failure

So…yeah…we didn’t catch Captain Jack Plunder. I don’t get it! Everything was perfect. We had music playing, Halloween candy, you name it. Dana made us all wear costumes so Captain Plunder wouldn’t be scared off by our uniforms! We even found an old chicken costume for Officer Ward, since he didn’t have anything to wear.

I’m not sure why Captain Wits had a spare chicken costume… You know what? Its better that I don’t know.

Anyway, we waited around until midnight, but he never showed up. I wonder what scared him off…

What a Puzzle!

Of all the puzzles I’ve ever done, the hardest challenges of all are always figuring out the people around me. For example, Jax and Sparky, er, I mean Jenny and Francis, have been asking me a TON of questions lately about blogging. What’s their deal? I mean, it’s great that they’re behaving themselves lately, but what’s with all the questions? And why ask me?

I think I’ll ask Officer Ward what he thinks before getting too suspicious. Maybe they really are reformed…

Weird Stuff...

Seeing alien’s heads explode in the vacuum of space never gets old! I’ve been a big fan of “Space Commander Xurk” for a long time (well, not as big a fan as Alan, but who is?) and I am glad the movie didn’t disappoint. I guess my only complaint is that it could have ended a little more…mysteriously. Then again, I want everything to be a puzzle!

Speaking of puzzles…Erika came by my room the other day with her mp3 player LOADED with new music! I asked her where she got all of her great new songs, but she wouldn’t answer me. She just kept saying things like “Oh, you know…around” or “Oh this song? I’ve had it for years!”

Pretty strange, if you ask me. Think I’ll keep an eye on her.

So Long!

Yoko and I decided to stay until after the Fourth of July. I didn’t want her to miss out on what might be her last Independence Day in America! We had a blast at the carnival and the fireworks were soooo cool! It was a fantastic way to end the year!

While I was packing up my stuff for the summer I found an old bag of beef jerky. This stuff had some serious funk coming off it. I mean gym sock serious. Ugh. I was going to just toss it out, but I figured, why not compost it, right? I mean, Dana’s always going on about how much greater it is to compost.

Anyway, I’ve got to go do some more packing. Have a great summer, everyone!

Hooray!

Yoko’s staying for the summer!

We’re going to stay at the Academy for the rest of the month to help Dana get her garden started. Then, we’re going to stay with my parents for the rest of the summer. We’re even planning a special trip to Disney World, but I won’t tell you when because that’s personal information.

Best.Season.Ever!

I am getting SO excited for summer vacation! I’m trying to convince Yoko to stay here over the summer so we can have as much fun as possible before she has to go back to Japan. It’s been so great having her here this year.

The summer is the perfect time to experience American culture because we don’t have to worry about studying or training! I’m thinking pool parties, BBQs, softball games, beach trips, camping...
I can’t wait!
