He’s So Frustrating!
Ugh! Alan’s always taking someone else’s side! And I can’t believe he brought up the phishing attack! Sure, I fell for a stupid trick, but Erika lied and stole! It’s totally different!
Hmph. I’m going to the garden and clear my head. I need to make sure the squash will be ready by Thanksgiving.

A New Email
Captain Jack emailed me again and told me why he didn’t fall for our trap. I don’t know how to say this, but Officer Ward’s the reason he didn’t show up. Captain Jack was following our blogs all along! When Officer Ward posted about the Halloween party trap, Captain Jack read all about it! I think I’ll go tell Officer Ward in person before he reads this. He’s not going to be happy.

Everything’s Ready
Captain Jack replied to Erika’s email a few days ago, and it looks like he bought the lie completely! The “Copyright Cursin’ Corsair” even said he’d bring a pumpkin pie!
We’ve been hard at work setting up decorations since we ate breakfast this morning. It’s 3:00 P.M. now, and we’ve still got some finishing touches until we’re completely finished. He’s supposed to show up at 5:30, so we’ve still got time.
I told everyone to wear a costume so Captain Jack wouldn’t be scared off by our Academy uniforms. Everyone had a costume except for Officer Ward. Luckily, Captain Wits had a spare chicken costume he didn’t mind lending to Officer Ward. I’m not sure why Captain Wits had an adult-sided chicken costume in the first place, and I don’t think I want to know.
Alrighty, I better get back down to the party to make sure everything’s ready. Wish us luck!

Time to Face the Music
I talked to Jax and Sparky. They weren’t as helpful as I hoped. They told me to go to Officer Ward, which I guess is what I’ll do. I just want him to know that I never wanted to cause all these problems. I never wanted to steal or to keep my friends from enjoying the Internet. I just wanted to see that stupid movie so I wouldn’t feel left out. I hope he understands. I hope my friends forgive me.

Something’s Up…
OK, so I try to mind my own business…but something’s up definitely up with Erika. Whenever I mention how slow the Internet’s been lately she gets all fidgety and changes the subject. What’s that about?
I think I’m going to sit her down and talk to her about it. I mean, I don’t want to get her in trouble if she is somehow responsible, but I also don’t want to wait an hour to download a file I need. Hopefully we can deal with it without getting the faculty involved…
