October 26, 2008 - Greetings, Boils and Ghouls! Deathly Dana and the rest of our Creepy Cadets and Fiendish Faculty are hosting our annual Halloween party this Friday.

There will be putrid pumpkin pie and sickening apple cider for everyone. We'll have apple bobbing, a costume contest, and enough candy to make our dentists cry (don't worry, I'll make sure everyone brushes after). And if that isn't fun enough for you, we might even have a special guest...

September 8, 2009 - We’ve got an exciting new semester ahead of us, Cadets, so look sharp! Just so you know, there have been a few changes while you were away.

• To go along with his new responsibilities as a faculty member, Carlo has a new blog!
• Since Yoko left and Carlo graduated, it looks like we have a few openings for some new Cadet blogs. Keep an eye out for some fresh new bloggers!

To our returning Cadets, it’s great to see all of you again! And to all of our new Cadets, get ready for a whirlwind of a semester!

June 17, 2009 - This summer we have a few Cadets staying at the Academy to work on summer projects with our faculty.

• Alan will be working with Officer Ward to help upgrade the Detention Center’s Cyber Forensics Lab


• Dana is working with Trey on a campus greening project which includes creating an Academy garden

I’m also pleased to announce that Carlo has graduated this semester and will spend the summer with Cyber Defender Marshall training in Cyber Forensics. He intends to return to the Academy after his field work is complete to join the Academy faculty.

June 15, 2009 - We will have a special going-away party for our exchange student Yoko this Friday in the Cafeteria, before everyone scatters for summer vacation. Alexi has many games and activities planned. Please stop by and join us!

June 8, 2009 - The last day of the semester is this Wednesday, June 10. Commencement will be on Saturday.

Congratulations to the graduating class! We Cyber Defenders are very proud to have you among our ranks, helping us keep Cyberspace safe.

May 28, 2009 - Academy final exams are coming up soon, June
8-10. For any Cadets who want to put in a few extra hours of training before exams, Maya, Betty, and Trey will be available for extra hours in the afternoon next week.

May 14, 2009 - Just to let everyone know, Dana is all right and her identity appears to be uncompromised.

From what we can tell, the Cyber Villains were attempting to obtain a Cadet’s identity with their phishing attack in order to infiltrate the Academy’s Intranet. Since Dana’s was the only identity they were able to capture and she reported it immediately, we were able to shut down her account and prevent any unauthorized access.

However, to add insult to injury, it appears they have drained her account of Academy credits, so if anyone is willing to share some with her she would be grateful.
